Hmmm. Idk, when I find a picture isn’t working for me, I usually set it aside and work on a bunch of other stuff before going back to it. But that might not work for you, so idk?
I think I might have to do that for a little bit- hopefully not too long though since this pic has a deadline. But the small period of dormancy might work well enough that I can finish it.
Yo guys I need some advice. What d’you do to break yourself out of that phase when everything that comes out from your pen looks like shit? I’ve been pushing myself to keep working on a picture and even doing rough sketches of alternative versions of the same picture to see if starting over from scratch does anything (because if I get a picture that I’m really motivated about and like I can usually finish it pretty quickly) but it… hasn’t… been working very well.
I think my main problem is the painting portion since I still like the sketch well enough.
